VIRULENT TREACHE ROSE CONFUSION

Hello,



I'm a returning player to wakfu and got myself a starter pack. I'm very confused on how the Virulent Treacherose side kick works. I understand she can switch elements but nothing happens when I use "Sap or Venom" skill which switches the Earth and Air damage. That being said how am I suppose to switch from one element to another to utilize this sidekick better?
